Hot on the heels of Quentin Grimes showcasing his USA-themed Nike Kobe 6 Protro PEs come another Team USA player previewing his unreleased Nike Kobe sneaker.

During the first day of Team USA training camp yesterday, Milwaukee Bucks forward Bobby Portis Jr. was spotted lacing up an unreleased Bruce Lee-inspired Nike Kobe 5 colorway. In the images shared by @NBAKicks on Instagram, we see that Portis Jr.'s pair dons a predominantly white color scheme on the upper that's offset by a black and red Swoosh on the sides. Subtle yellow hits cover the top of the heel, while Lee's iconic scratch marks appear on the lateral sides.

Longtime sneaker fans will remember that the original "Bruce Lee" style was first introduced on the Kobe 5 in 2010. The original version featured a yellow-based upper as a nod to the emsemble worn by Lee in The Game of Death, while the scratch marks at the forefoot pay homage to Lee's wounds from Enter the Dragon. Nike would revisit the color scheme on the Kobe 5 in 2020 with the introduction of the "Bruce Lee Alt" Kobe 5 Protro.

Much like the aforementioned USA-themed Kobe 6 Protros, there is no indication that this "Bruce Lee" Nike Kobe 5 Protro colorway will be available to the public. Check back soon for official updates.
