Nike is referencing one of the fiercest rivalries in major league sports with these New York Yankees and Boston Red Sox-inspired Dunks dropping soon.
The two baseball-themed Dunk Lows are simply dressed in their respective team colors of white, grey, and navy blue for the Yankees and red, white, and blue for the Red Sox, and do not feature official logos from the two legendary franchises. The sneakers' only real callback to the sport and the rivalry is on the shoelaces, inspired by the stitching seams on a baseball.
Aside from the aforementioned Dunks, Nike is also releasing a new Kobe 6 colorway that's inspired by the LA Dodgers this week.
Despite images of the Yankees and Red Sox-themed Dunks surfacing, release details for the styles have yet to be announced by the Swoosh. Grab a closer look at both colorways below.
