It's not often that Nike releases sneakers that have transparent paneling, but that's exactly what's happening with this new black and pink-colored Dunk coming soon.
As confirmed on the SNKRS release calendar, a new "Black and Pink Rise" Dunk Low colorway will launch in mid-September. The upper, including the Swoosh, is mainly made up of a premium black pebbled leather but is offset by clear panels on the midfoot and toebox. The sneaker also comes with jewel-encrusted "Nike" lacelocks at the forefoot, while a translucent outsole appears underneath.
Easily the most memorable Nike sneaker to feature transparent paneling on the upper is the "Invisible Woman" Air Force 1 Low from 2006, which is inspired by the Marvel character Sue Storm from the Fantastic Four comic book series.
Readers will be able to cop the "Pink Rise" Nike Dunk Low on Sept. 11 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $135.
