Nike has plenty more surprises tucked away for the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 95, including reintroducing a zippered version of the classic sneaker soon.
Newly leaked images from @Brendandunne on Instagram show multiple iterations of the Nike Air Max 95 that feature a zipper shroud on the uppers. There's a predominantly purple makeup with orange hits as well as an all-black colorway. Aside from the midfoot shroud, the rest of the upper is equipped with a premium suede material, while the OG-styled big bubble air unit appears within the midsole.
Nike originally added the zipper shroud on the Air Max 95 in 2001, following the success of the brand's Flightposite and Zoom Flight 98, which also featured zippers on the uppers.
Despite an early look, release details for these Air Max 95s have yet to be announced by Nike. Check back soon for official updates in the coming weeks.
