Ronnie Fieg and New Balance have reconnected once again, but this time the Kith founder has teamed up with the sportswear brand to design an original silhouette.
Fieg unveiled the New Balance 2011 this past weekend, which is a new sneaker that’s co-designed with the brand’s senior creative design manager, Sam Pearce. Fieg also confirmed that the sneaker’s name pays homage to the year that Kith opened its first location, in November 2011, inside the clothing store Atrium at 644 Broadway in NoHo.
The “Leaf Green” New Balance 2011 shown above features a combination of perforated and hairy suede panels on the uppers, offset by a silver “N” logo at the midfoot. Sitting below is a sail Abzorb-cushioned midsole.
At the time of writing, release details for the New Balance 2011 have not yet been announced by either of the parties involved. Check back soon for updates.
