From time to time, Air Jordans worn by Michael Jordan throughout his illustrious NBA career hit the auction block. Some pairs are linked to more significant moments. Others, like this Air Jordan 7, and then there are others tied to more random situations.

Back on March 31, 1992, MJ and his Chicago Bulls faced off against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. In that game, Jordan scored 36 points, but none was more memorable than when he sank a free throw with his eyes closed with just 13 seconds left in the game.

On MJ's feet was the classic "Hare" Air Jordan 7, pictured above, which is being auctioned off through Sotheby's Mythos | Sneakers and Modern Collectibles sale from Sept. 19 to Sept. 29.

The auction house is currently predicting that the game-worn and signed Air Jordan 7 will fetch between $400,000 and $600,000. Readers interested in putting in a bid can do so here.
