Longtime collaborators A Bathing Ape (Bape) and Marvel have reconnected for a new series of Fantastic Four-themed Bape Stas dropping this week.
A total of five "Fantastic Four" x Marvel Bape Stas, along with matching t-shirts, are dropping this Saturday. Several pairs feature multiple characters grouped into a single shoe, including a white and blue colorway inspired by Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman, as well as a pink, blue, and white iteration referencing Galactus and the Silver Surfer. The last three styles in the range pay tribute to the characters Dr. Doom, the Human Torch, and the Thing. It's worth mentioning that a graphic of the Marvel characters that inspired each colorway is also printed on the heel counter.
Both Bape and Marvel have released Fantastic Four-inspired Bape Stas in the past, including their "Human Torch" and "Silver Surfer" pairs in 2006.
