Hoka has tapped the Italian luxury brand Marni to help elevate a sneaker in its popular Bondi franchise.

Shown here is the high-end Marni x Hoka Bondi B3LS that's hitting retailers in early April and available in four tonal colorways, including in "Poinciana" (red), "Bracken" (charcoal), "Tourmaline" (blue), and "Straw" (yellow). The most obvious update to the model with this project is the puffy polyester upper as opposed to the mesh used on the inline version. What does remain unchanged is the chunky EVA midsole and thick rubber outsole. Marni branding on the shoe is kept to a minimum as it only appears on the insoles.

"The partnership between Hoka and Marni is rooted in celebrating the natural intersection of running and fashion. Both brands value bold optimism, irreverent color, and witty playfulness in a visionary manner," Thomas Cykana, Hoka's senior director of global collaborations and partnerships, said. "In that spirit, Hoka is proud to bring a dramatically exaggerated and maximalist expression of the Bondi B3LS to life as an embodiment of that shared vision."

The Marni x Hoka Bondi B3LS styles will release starting on April 3 exclusively at Marni.com and Marni stores for $395 each. The sneakers will then drop on April 4 at Hoka.com and at select Hoka stockists.
