2023 marks the 5-year anniversary since the late rapper Mac Miller released his fifth studio album, Swimming. To celebrate, Vans has teamed up with Miller's estate to create a special iteration of the classic Authentic sneaker.
Arriving tomorrow is the Mac Miller x Vans Authentic collab, which arrives exactly five years after the release of Swimming. The sneaker features a black-based canvas upper with a Yin-Yang symbol and accompanying text printed on the toe box. Miller's name and his birth year are also printed throughout the entirety of the vulcanized midsole, while Vans' signature red patch appears on the heel.
According to Vans, portions of the proceeds from this Authentic collab will benefit the Mac Miller Fund, a nonprofit organization that provides various programming, resources, and opportunities to kids from underserved communities to help them reach their full potential.
