Jordan Brand has unveiled its latest performance basketball sneaker with the introduction of the Triangle. The model gets its name from the triangle offense system in basketball, famously utilized by coach Phil Jackson and Michael Jordan’s Chicago Bulls teams in the ‘90s.
The Jordan Triangle will hit retailers in early July and will debut in three colorways. The silhouette is equipped with a woven upper that’s designed to look like carbon fiber but is also durable and feels comfortable on the court. There’s a lateral shank plate providing stability during on-court cutting, while a ZoomX foam midsole and Zoom Air at the heel are applied for responsiveness. The design is completed with a Hart Rubber 2.0 traction outsole that is specifically made to handle various court surfaces.
