JJJJound is once again transferring the colorway of a previous New Balance collab onto a different model with the 990v4 shown here.
The Montreal-based design studio shared an image on Instagram of the previously unseen JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 collab. The pair features a brown-based makeup appearing on both the upper's premium suede and mesh panels. Breaking up the look is a dark brown "N" logo at the center, cream-colored shoelaces, and silver accents on the heel counter's "990v4" marking.
This execution has previously appeared on JJJJound's New Balance 992 and 993 collabs.
Despite the early look from JJJJound, neither the design studio or the sportswear brand has officially confirmed if this 990v4 colorway is actually hitting retail. Stay tuned for updates that are expected to arrive in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (12/05): JJJJound has confirmed that the preorders for its "Mushroom" New Balance 990v4 open on Dec. 12 at 9 a.m. ET. On the website, JJJJound states that pairs are expected to ship out sometime in Fall 2026.
