After surfacing online earlier this month, Nike has officially unveiled its three-way Air Max 90 collab with the University of Oregon and the rock band Grateful Dead.
Nike says that its Grateful Dead x University of Oregon Air Max 90 celebrates the shared history between the three entities, specifically the band’s iconic 1990 shows at Autzen Stadium in Eugene, OR. The sneaker is equipped with loud tie-dye accents on the mudguards and combined with the Ducks' signature yellow and green school colors. A special Grateful Dead logo appears on the heel tab, while the Grateful Dead bears appear on the hangtag.
The collection also includes co-branded varsity and bomber jackets, sweatpants, hoodies, T-shirts, and headwear, as seen in the images below.
Grateful Dead and Nike have previously released a trio of SB Dunk Lows, with each pair inspired by one of the band's bear characters.
The Grateful Dead x Oregon x Nike Air Max 90 drops today at Dead.net, on Oct. 23 at Classtrip.co, and on Oct. 24 via SNKRS and at select retailers.
