While Futura's 70th birthday (November 17) isn't until later this month, Nike is celebrating early with this special Air Force 1, shown here.
The New York City-based graffiti artist and longtime Nike collaborator just revealed an exclusive Air Force 1 Low on Instagram. The cropped image only shows a brief look at the shoe's interior and its heel counter, but the back of the tongue tag confirms that there are only 70 pairs in existence in reference to the age Futura is turning this month. The artist's work is also visible on the upper's quarter panels and on portions of the insoles. There's also "LXX" marked on the heel counter.
At the time of writing, it's currently unknown if any of the remaining pairs of this Futura x Nike Air Force 1 Low are releasing to the public. Check back soon for official updates.
