Nike has re-signed Detroit Pistons All-Star guard Cade Cunningham to a multi-year endorsement deal, which will include the release of his first signature shoe.
In an exclusive interview with Boardroom, Cunningham confirmed that he has re-signed with the Swoosh, and will release his first signature shoe in Spring 2027. At the time of writing, specific details surrounding the sneaker have yet to surface.
Cunningham first signed with Nike in July 2021, prior to being drafted as the No. 1 pick by the Pistons that year. On the court, he frequently laces up PE versions of the GT Cut 3 Turbo that feature his star logo on the heel (pictured below).
Cunningham is set to become the sixth active NBA player with a Nike signature shoe, joining Devin Booker, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Ja Morant, Kevin Durant, and LeBron James.
