There's a new Bricks & Wood x New Balance collaboration in the works, with an early look now shared by the LA-based label's COO, Daniela Barraza.
Barraza posted an early look at the previously unseen Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U on Instagram. The collab features a predominantly black mesh upper combined with multicolored overlay panels throughout. The shoe is equipped with a toggle lacing setup, while Bricks & Wood branding is stamped on the heel. The series of images also showed the inspiration behind the colorful sneaker, which is the Madagascan sunset moth.
Bricks & Wood and New Balance have collaborated several times in the past. For their first sneaker project in 2021, the duo dropped a 57/40 collab followed by a 9060 in 2023.
At the time of writing, release details for the Bricks & Wood x New Balance 1906U have yet to be announced.
UPDATE (10/09): Bricks & Wood has officially confirmed that its "Echoes of a Butterfly" New Balance 1906U collab will be released this Saturday exclusively at its Space(s) store in LA. A global drop will take place on Oct. 18 at select New Balance stockists.
