The Bape Shark Hoodie, by many accounts, is one of the most iconic items it has ever produced. Given that this year marks the 20th anniversary since its original release, the Japanese streetwear brand is celebrating the milestone with the debut of a new sneaker.
That pair is the Bape Shark Sta shown here, which is launching this weekend. The silhouette features a design similar to some of the other mesh runners currently on the market, but Bape incorporates its signature Shark details on the upper's side panels. Completing the look is a chunky midsole with the brand's Star motif at the midfoot.
For the first drop, Bape has created 10 Shark Sta colorways that reference different countries across the globe. In addition, the brand is releasing a range of Shark Hoodies coinciding with the sneaker drop, which are pictured below.
