After initially previewing the shoes in February as part of its 2025 Spring range, Awake NY's two Air Jordan 5 collaborations are finally releasing this month. Ahead of its launch, the New York City-based label has shared the official details on how you can purchase a pair.
How to Buy the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5
Awake NY has confirmed that both the "Pink" and "Racer Blue" colorways of its Air Jordan 5 will be released on Sunday, Aug. 17, at 10 a.m. ET, via an online raffle for the pairs to be shipped or for an in-store pickup. The pink version appears to be the more exclusive colorway in the set, as it's only releasing through Awake NY channels. Meanwhile, the blue pair will release again on Aug. 30 via the Nike SNKRS app and at select Nike NBHD retail doors.
The Awake NY x Air Jordan 5s are equipped with premium pebbled leather uppers, with one pair donning a vibrant pink hue and the other in black. One of the most noticeable changes with Awake's version of the Michael Jordan sneaker is the new "A" logo added to the mesh netting on the sides, while co-branding appears on the tongue and translucent outsole.
In addition to the sneakers, this project includes apparel pieces ranging from thermals, zip-up hoodies, t-shirts, beanies, a t-shirt, and washed denim jeans.
UPDATE (08/20): Official product images of the Awake NY x Air Jordan 5 'Racer Blue' collab have loaded on Nike's website. The sneaker is scheduled to drop on Aug. 30 via SNKRS and at select retailers for $230.
