Nike is collaborating with the London-based music label Apron Records on a premium iteration of the Air 180.
Apron Records founder Steven Julien just unveiled the label's Air 180 project on Instagram. The teaser photos show a combination of green hairy suede and leather materials on the upper, paired with soft terrycloth shoelaces. Adding to the luxurious design are the cow print Swooshes and the snakeskin-inspired heel counter featuring Apron branding. The images also confirm that the shoe will come with special packaging.
Despite sharing a first look on Instagram, a firm release date for this Apron Records x Nike Air 180 collab has yet to be announced by either of the parties involved. Stay tuned for new developments in the coming weeks.
UPDATE (03/01): Apron Records has confirmed on Instagram that its green-colored Nike Air 180 collab will be released on March 8 at Apronrecords.com. Additionally, a second red colorway of the project has loaded on the backend of Nike's website, but the release for this new iteration has yet to be announced by the collaborators.
