Kyrie Irving and Anta are referencing nature with their latest release of his Kai 2 sneaker.
Specifically, this new "Sun" iteration of Irving's current signature shoe is a nod to the sunrise and how it serves as a metaphor for a new start to every day. The sneaker dons an orange-based color scheme symbolizing the look of when the sun crests the horizon every morning. The sneaker is also accented with blue and green hues on the tongue, the interior, and the midsole. Finishing off the look is a matching orange rubber outsole.
"I’ve always been moved by the glow of the sun when it rises," Irving said. "This colorway represents my belief that every day is a chance to rise again—and to speak truth with light."
