Not only is the original "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 1 colorway coming back in July, but Jordan Brand is also bringing the theme onto the Air Jordan 3 with a new women's exclusive release.
Michael Jordan's namesake brand confirmed via the SNKRS launch calendar that a new "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 3 will drop on July 18. Unlike standard iterations of the shoe that typically use leather on the upper, this pair opts for a more durable canvas material in a sail hue. There are additional orange accents scattered throughout the shoe that reference the uniform Michael Jordan wore when he dunked and shattered a backboard during a 1985 exhibition game played in Italy.
Readers will be able to cop the "Shattered Backboard" Air Jordan 3 on the SNKRS app and at select Jordan Brand stockists on July 18 for $205. Grab a closer look at the women's exclusive colorway below.
