One of the last Air Jordans that Michael Jordan wore on an NBA court before retiring from the NBA in the early 2000s is reportedly returning to retailers next year.
According to leakers Sneaker Files and @zSneakerheadz on Instagram, the “College Blue” Air Jordan 17 will release on Feb. 19, 2027, for $350. Many sneaker fans may recall MJ wearing this white and blue colorway during his playing days with the Washington Wizards during the ‘01-’02 NBA season.
There are currently no leaked images of the purported 2027 Air Jordan 17, but the upcoming version is expected to be a straightforward retro, like the 2002 pair shown above. The sneaker is also rumored to come in a metal briefcase, as it did back in the original release.
Despite early release details surfacing, Jordan Brand has yet to confirm the rerelease of the “College Blue” Air Jordan 17. Check back soon for official updates in the coming months.
