Jordan Brand isn't done celebrating the 40th anniversary of the Air Jordan 1, specifically the black and red colorway, as the brand is planning to release the style again this year.

News of the upcoming “Bred” Air Jordan 1 High was first reported by Sneaker News and then Sole Retriever, though their details differ. A source from Jordan Brand confirmed with Complex that while the shoe itself will be the same as the “Bred” Jordan 1 High ’85 that released in February, this is not a straight restock and will differ in how it’s packaged. The sneaker is also expected to be more limited than the recent retro—the re-release is not part of a plan to allocate a substantial amount of more pairs.

At the time of writing, leaked images of the sneaker have yet to surface, and the image above is of the February release. Check back soon for official updates and an early look at the shoe in the coming months.

UPDATE (10/17): Official images of the upcoming Air Jordan 1 High '85 'Bred' retro have emerged. This latest version doesn't visually appear to differ from the pair that dropped in February, but this new release does come with new black and gold shoelaces, as seen in the image below.
