Now that students are back in classrooms, Adidas has prepared a series of Crazy 8 styles just in time for homecoming week at several HBCUs in October.
The brand unveiled its latest HBCU-themed Crazy 8 Low collection ahead of its release next week. The schools that are getting their own colorway include Alabama State, Alcorn State Arkansas Pine Bluff, Grambling State, and Prairie View A&M.
The sneakers feature a leather-based upper, including shiny patent leather Three Stripe on the sides. Not only is each style dressed in the team colors of the respective institutions, but the schools' mascots are also embroidered on the tongues.
These five HBCU-themed Crazy 8 Lows will be released on Oct. 1 at Adidas.com. Each pair retails for $120.
