Before the arrival of the AE 2 later this year, there are still releases of Anthony Edwards' current Adidas signature shoe on the horizon, including this "Year of the Snake" colorway shown here.
As the name suggests, this multi-colored "Year of the Snake" AE 1 Low pays homage to this year's Chinese zodiac sign, which also happens to be Edwards' zodiac animal. The sneaker itself features a predominantly black mesh upper offset by iridescent panels on the sides for lateral support. On the heel is a purple Three Stripes logo, while a full-length Light Boost midsole and a semi-translucent outsole sit below.
Readers will be able to cop this "Year of the Snake" Adidas AE 1 Low starting this Friday, May 30, at Adidas.com and at select Adidas Basketball stockists. The sneaker retails for $110.
