On the opposite end of the fashion spectrum from the tuxes and gowns typically worn by the actors at the Academy Awards, comedian Adam Sandler made a huge statement at the Oscars last night in a scripted bit by wearing a sporty ensemble that included a pair of Under Armour Currys.
The sneaker in question was the "Championship Mindset" Under Armour Curry 11, which first launched in January 2024 and was re-released this week. As the name of the colorway suggests, this Curry 11 celebrates signature athlete Stephen Curry's multiple championship runs with the color scheme inspired by the Larry O'Brien trophy.
At the 2025 Oscars, Sandler paired the Curry 11 sneakers with a floral t-shirt, a light blue hoodie, and blue Adidas shorts.
