Last night, Under Armour celebrated Stephen Curry's birthday with the debut of the Curry 5 in a limited "Pi Day" colorway. With just 314 pairs released, it goes without saying that the sneakers sold out quickly, but there will be another chance to pick them up for retail.
Under Armour has announced that the "Pi Day" colorway will be restocked on April 13 for $130. The Pi-themed style includes references to the holiday throughout, and the mathematical constant also inspired the Curry 5's circular construction. Interestingly enough, Under Armour's official product description is rather light on specifics, but it does mention that the shoe is equipped with lockdown areas at the heel and lateral forefoot to keep Curry contained during quick cuts.
The "Pi Day" style will be restocked via underarmour.com.
