Germany's Sneakers Magazine has been holding down the culture in print since 2009, but surprisingly, it's never had its own collaboration — until now.
Sneakers Magazine has linked with KangaROOS for an absinthe-inspired take on the Omnicoil II runner. If you're not familiar with absinthe, it's an ancient alcohol drink shrouded in mystique. Some say it will make you hallucinate, while others simply enjoy it as an alternative to traditional liquors. But all that really matters is that it led to this dope collaboration, which works around a white mesh upper and includes hits of black, grey, and absinthe green.
The Sneakers Magazine x KangaROOS Omnicoil II "Absinthe" is set to release on August 15 exclusively in Germany and Europe at the following locations: Afew, The Good Will Out, Overkill, Asphaltgold, 43einhalb, Suppa, Colette, Black Rainbow, Hanon, RunColors, Paar, and Urban People. Retail comes in at around $134 per Overkill.
Also, if you happen to be in the area, Sneakers Magazine will be popping bottles of absinthe at Asphalt Gold, The Good Will Out, 43einhalb, and Afew.
