UPDATE: Nike Officially Unveils Its Latest Collaboration With Pigalle

Pigalle has a new look for the NikeLab Dunk High and it's dropping sooner than you might expect.

Between revamped classics like the "De La Soul" SBs and premium collabs with Dover Street Market, Nike has already churned out some great Dunks this year, but Parisian streetwear brand Pigalle may very well have the best drop of 2015 up its sleeve.

Using a monochromatic black color scheme, the Pigalle x NikeLab Dunk High makes use of a taped seam Hyperfuse construction. At the heel, a cutout has been made just above the pull tab, although its function (if any) has yet to be revealed. Elsewhere, a plastic lacelock keeps things in place while the bulk of the upper features a white splatter treatment. Pigalle branding appears on the back panel.

This isn't the first time Pigalle and Nike have hooked up for a collaborative sneaker. In the past, they've worked on the Air Force 1 and Air Raid silhouettes.

Although NikeLab has yet to confirm a release date, Dover Street Market is advertising a June 27 release for this collab, which also includes a co-branded tee shirt. Check back for more updates soon.

After the official unveiling of the Pigalle x Nike Dunk Lux's, Sneaker News dropped off the most detailed look we've seen yet.

Following this morning's video, Nike has released official details for its new Pigalle collab. Officially known as the Pigalle x NikeLab Dunk Lux, the staple sneaker has been updated with a new shape and materials. "The shape is very popular in Europe. I like the idea that the shoes can be worn by a diverse crowd. It's the perfect transition between on-court and off-court," said Pigalle designer Stéphane Ashpool.

@nikelab has officially announced the new collaboration, confirming a June 27 release date and dropping off this video to emphasize the collection's basketball influence. From the looks of the clip, the Dunk High is the only sneaker in the collection, but there's a pretty good selection of apparel to choose from.
