Nike has already lined up a number of colorways for Victor Cruz's first signature shoe, but we're here to tell you that the "Red October" version has been officially scrapped.
According to The Shoe Game, Nike sent out an alert to retailers telling them not to expect their shipments of the "Red October" Cruz trainers as originally planned. There's no reason specified, however we're speculating that it may have something to do with Nike looking to distance itself from colorways made famous by Kanye West.
There is a silver lining, though, and it's that the rest of the Air Trainer Cruz sneakers will be releasing as scheduled. The first colorway is set to arrive on November 20 in "Haystack/Gym Red-Black."
