Along with the return of the fan-favorite gold Air Max 97, Nike is bringing the OG metallic makeup to its VaporMax hybrid.
Set to release this May is the Air VaporMax 97 in the OG-inspired "Metallic Gold" colorway. Like the "Silver Bullet" iteration that released last month, this new style carries over all of the signature details found on the 1997 runner aside from its full-length Air bubble, which has been replaced with a clear VaporMax unit.
This old-meets-new Air VaporMax 97 is set to drop next month for a retail price of $190.
UPDATE (04/20): This gold Air VaporMax 97 will be released May 17, 2018, the same day that its OG Air Max 97 counterpart also returns.
