Nike is pulling out all the stops for the Olympic summer games in Rio, and Ken Griffey Jr.'s first signature shoe is the latest to receive a patriotic makeover.

Here, the Air Griffey Max 1 takes on a navy suede upper with gold contrast stitching and burgundy accents. Additional details include a white midsole, gum outsole, and stars on the heel tab, along with a special badge at the rear.

If the other upcoming "Olympic" releases from Nike Sportswear are any indication, these should be arriving sometime in early June. For the time being, you can check out a detailed look below courtesy of Sneaker Bar Detroit.
