Soon-to-be sophomore Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell was the face of Adidas' "Rookie?" campaign in April, and now there's speculation that the rookie of the year contender could receive his own shoe.
Taking to Twitter, Mitchell dropped a not-so-subtle hint about achieving a longtime goal. Capped off with a sneaker emoji, it's easy to read between the lines and get excited over the prospect of the young athlete getting his own Three Stripes signature model.
But according to Utah Jazz beat writer Eric Woodyard, talks of a Mitchell signature sneaker are thus far unfounded—although a source tells Woodyard "good things are happening" between the two parties.
