It's almost that time of the year again, and thankfully we're not talking about Tax Day. The annual pothead holiday 4/20 is on the horizon and, like usual, there are sure to be some fiery sneaker collabs dropping, the first of which is this vulcanized Stan Smith from BAIT and adidas Skateboarding.
Here, the Stan Smith Vulc gets wrapped in a hemp construction which has been heat-pressed with a unique stone-like pattern—in other words, they're literally stoned. At the heel, the Stan Smith's traditional green suede hit is given an extra-nappy treatment, while the Trefoil logo loses its "adidas" tag to display only the three-leafed symbol. Additional smoker-friendly details include medical marijuana-inspired tags on the tongue, cork insoles for comfort, and even hidden stash pockets.
The release goes down next week, but for a chance to cop, you'll have to sign up for BAIT's raffle here. All winners will be contacted by Friday, April 15. Meanwhile, an in store release will go down at all BAIT locations on 4/20.
