Instead of sweating buckets in a pair of leather sneakers this summer, wait for these to drop instead. Swapping out the traditional leather upper for something more airy, the adidas has added Primeknit to the Superstar 80s.
Aside from the pre-yellowed rubber outsole and toe cap, the entire sneaker has been given the knit treatment, making these a much more practical choice for summer than traditional Superstars.
Ever since the days of Run-DMC, the adidas Superstar has been one of the brand's most successful and famous sneakers. Throughout the years, the Superstar has undergone a number of changes, but this may prove to be the best update yet.
According to Sneakers.fr, the Primeknit Superstar is slated to release in August, and has been advertised at 130 €, which converts to roughly $148.
