After Carmelo Anthony was traded to New York, it was the first time in over 10 years that Knick fans felt like their team had a chance to get back to the NBA Finals. As an added bonus, now that Carmelo is here to stay — the first Knick to boast a signature shoe since Latrell Sprewell — he needs his Jordan signatures to match up with the Knicks uniforms. The Jordan Melo M8 recently made its debut in three different colorways, packed full of Jordan technology that he and creator Justin Taylor incorporated to fit Carmelo's game. We caught up with Melo at the Flight Lab 159 pop-up shop in New York City to have him rank his signatures. Click through and find out where Carmelo Anthony Ranks His Signature Shoes.

7. Jordan Melo M3
Year released: 2006
Carmelo says: "The 3 was interesting, I had scrapped the 3 like twice, and that was the final one we came up with. That was the one that I felt we wanted to go a little more sleeker, a little more tight to the foot. That’s the direction we went with that one."

6. Jordan Melo M4
Year released: 2007
Carmelo says: "That was another one, my inspiration on that one was try to do something a little different. We toyed with the Foamposite, that was the first time we ever toyed with the Foamposite and then we did the patent leather toe."

5. Jordan Melo M5
Year released: 2008
Carmelo says: "That was probably one of my best ones. We released on Black Friday so we had that whole all-black movement going on at that point in time."

4. Jordan Melo 1.5
Year released: 2004
Carmelo says: "I think that was the one that really put me into the game, the shoe game. Coming out with that one we toyed with the ankle support and the toe part, we just wanted to try and make it kind of separate but still fit."

3. Jordan Melo M7
Year released: 2010
Carmelo says: "I love the 7, that was the one where I really wanted people to wear when they go out to clubs. What really put that one over the top was the red Foamposite, and then we did the blue Foamposite. And then we did the Chinas, the Knicks colorway — the orange was serious."

2. Jordan Melo M6
Year released: 2009
Carmelo says: "The 6 was lovely too. I had fun doing that. That’s when we were able to use different materials, we were toying with the Zoom Air. At that point in time we were trying to figure out if it works or if it doesn’t work for my shoe, and then we actually toyed with kind of locking the shoe down, three different pieces coming together as one, locking the foot down."

1. Jordan Melo 5.5
Year Released: 2005
Carmelo says: "The 5.5 was my favorite. I think the whole 'B More' aspect of it we did — the 'B More' commercial and I went back walked down my old block, so it had that much more inspiration into designing that shoe."
