Hanon x Saucony Shadow Master "The Midnight Runner"

Month Released: June

Even if you swam across the pond to get a pair of these, you probably came up short. That's what happens when something is properly done and extremely limited in quantity. You mad, bro?

Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL Lyte III "ECP"

Month Released: May

This shit even had west coast dudes thinking about flying to Miami for the release. We can only imagine the frustrations of those that didn't get a pair. Hopefully some got a chance at the matching gear that released with it.

Packer Shoes x Reebok Kamikaze II "Remember the Alamo"

Month Released: August

When you tug at people's emotional heartstrings, you're going to hurt feelings. The San Antonio All Star game and Shawn Kemp goes together like a fat kid and cake. We don't give a fuck it's not your birthday, you're still not getting this pack.

Ronnie Fieg x ASICS GEL Lyte III "Flamingos"

Month Released: August

Ronnie's ASICS have become so popular that even if the Mr. Onitsuka himself wanted a pair, hed probably still have a heard time getting them. Frustration level 10.

Nike Roshe Run FB "Yeezy"

Month Released: April

The Yeezy II inspired colorways aren't even really inspired by the Yeezy II but the way these things sold out (even after multiple restocks) would have you thinking each pair came with Kanye's baby.

New Balance x Concepts "C-Notes"

Month Released: October

This Boston power duo always does things properly and it leaves people feeling like should just take a nose dive off the Green Monster. (Don't try this, kids. We're joking.)

A$AP Rocky x Jeremy Scott x adidas Originals Wings 2.0 "Black Flag"

Month Released: September

Clearly, the Jeremy Scott phenomenon is still going strong. Throw someone like A$AP Rocky into the mix and you've got yourself some fucking problems.

Air Jordan I "Royal"

Month Released: February

It's been since 2001. Then they added the Nike Air to it. It's no surprise some of us are still frustrated about these.

Air Jordan V "Doernbecher"

Month Released: September

Usually, Nike's Doernbecher Freestyle Collection releases en masse, and while the Air Jordan is inevitably the toughest get, at least some attention is drawn by other models. Not this time. The Doernbecher Air Jordan V-which, lest your forget, is both covered in black light lettering AND glows in the dark-released all by its lonesome, ensuring it would attract all of the attention. It's just a shame its designer, 12-year-old Isaac Arzate, didn't live long enough to see the reaction.

Nike LeBron X "Corks"

Month Released: February

These were buzzing like a Drake album for so long it's no wonder they were nearly impossible to get. More like nothing IS the same.

Bape x Reebok Insta Pump Fury

Month Released: September

Much like Kelis bringing boys to the yard, BAPE always brings all the hypebeasts the line. Their first collab with Reebok is probably one of the best things to ever happen to Japanese streetwear consumers (and those of us elsewhere that always bite their style.

Nike LeBron X Championship Pack

Month Released: August

The King was rewarded quite nicely by Nike Basketball and much like the rest of the league, most were left salty.

Air Jordan III '88

Month Released: February

The Air Jordan III '88 was perhaps the best-timed release in sneaker history, dropping at the same exact time 25 years to the day Michael Jordan defended his NBA Slam Dunk title in Chicago. As the first Air Jordan III to feature "Nike Air" branding in over a decade, anticipation was sky-high, and the servers didn't know what hit them. Even re-stocks disappeared immediately. The thirst was-and is-real.

adidas Originals x Mastermind JAPAN

Month Released: July

When it was announced that Mastermind Japan would be bringing an end to their brand, there was no chance for this adidas collaboration to go unnoticed. Despite a simple black and white color palette for every sneaker in the release, these flew off the shelves. And by the time you saw them at another store, they were sold out there as well.

Supreme x Nike Flyknit Lunar 1

Month Released: October

By the time the e-mail alert went out with the Supreme shop update, the Supreme Flyknit was already sold out online. You didn't snooze, you still lost. As for buying them in person, the urban campers were out in force on Lafayette Street, $188 (plus tax) at the ready. Yup, eBay it is.
