This weekend is full of releases to look forward to with high profile collaborations from Nike, Adidas, and Converse all dropping, as well as some pretty solid retro offerings from Jordan Brand this time around as well.
Adidas starts off the week with the release of its collaboration with mastermind World, a new diffusion label from the popular mastermind Japan. The collab features two colorways each of the EQT Support Ultra and EQT Support 93/17 done up in black and royal blue colorways. A wider release of Consortium Sneaker Exchange collaboration between Fruition and Overkill will also be making its way to select retailers as well.
The early portion of the weekend gives us three more notable collaborations as well. ASAP Nast's two sneaker collaboration with Converse will be exclusively releasing at Foot Locker's Times Square location, and Stussy will be dropping its cream colorway of the New Balance 990V4. In celebration of the 110th anniversary of the original Packer Shoes in Yonkers, NY, Packer has collaborated with J. Crew on a series of premium Asiscs Gell-Lyte IIIs that will be releasing this Friday.
Nike is releasing the latest colorway of their auto-lacing Hyperadapt 1.0 this weekend in a "Sport Royal" colorway, as well as two new basketball models this. Kevin Durant and Paul George's signatures will both be releasing in colorways inspired by their respective teams, the Golden State Warriors and Oklahoma City Thunder.
Also releasing in the realm of basketball is Converse's extensive NBA Collection. The collection features a pair of Chuck Taylors for each team made out of real NBA jerseys that are limited to 250 per team, as well as other premium styles honoring legendary franchises like the Lakers, Celtics, and Bulls.
On the high end side of things, there is also a new black colorway releasing of the Balenciaga Triple S, the latest model to join the "dad shoe" craze. This pricey model retails at $745, and features a chunky midsole, and pre-distressed upper as well that makes the look like it has already been worn.
Air Jordan has a solid delivery in store this week with three separate releases. The first release is the long awaited arrival of the Air Jordan VI Pinnacle "SNL" inspired by the olive green flight jacket worn by Michael Jordan when he hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live back in 1991. A royal blue suede rendition of the the Air Jordan V "Flight Suit" will also be releasing as a follow-up to the original red suede version. Rounding out Jordan Brand's offering this weekend is a GS-exclusive pack of shoes featuring an Air Jordan X and Air Jordan I that are inspired by WNBA superstar Maya Moore.
Perhaps the biggest release of the weekend is the first drop from Ronnie Fieg's Nike collaboration honoring Scottie Pippen. The first half of the collection will be dropping this Friday, and features two pairs of the Nike Air Maestro 2. One pair is dressed in a purple suede colorway to represent Pippen's time playing college hoops at the University of Central Arkansas, while the other is a red and black colorway to represent his time as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Fieg also adds signature new additions to the Air Maestro 2 model in the form of an asymmetrical lacing system, medial zipper, and special Kith branding.
