Goku, Virgil Abloh, and Will Smith are all part of this weekend's crop of the best sneaker releases.
Starting off on Tuesday, Jordan Brand is celebrating Will Smith's 50th birthday with a special laceless version of the "Grape" Air Jordan V inspired by how his character wore his pair on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Also dropping on Tuesday is Undercover's "Order/Disorder" pack of Converse Chuck 70s.
On Wednesday, Virgil Abloh's "Spooky Pack" of Nike Blazer Mids hits retailers after initially being pushed back and Nike also debuts its new rendition of the Air Max 270—the '90s ACG-inspired Air Max 270 Bowfin.
Releases continue on Thursday with the debut of the Air Jordan VII Low in three colorways. Nike drops the "Denim" Air Foamposite One and Adidas releases its latest collab with lifestyle brand Oyster Holdings on Friday.
The drops conclude Saturday with the first wave from the Dragon Ball Z x Adidas collection, four pairs of the brand new Nike React Element 55, and the "Wings" Air Jordan V featuring illustrations from Chicago's youth.

Air Jordan V 'Fresh Prince'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is celebrating Will Smith's 50th birthday with a special release of the "Grape" Air Jordan V. Inspired by the way that Smith rocked the sneaker on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, this pair is laceless. Paying further homage to the actor's character from the classic '90s TV show are "West Philadelphia" written under the tongue, colorful insoles inspired by his wardrobe, and OG "Nike Air" branding from the era on the heel and outsole.
Undercover x Converse Chuck 70 'Order/Disorder' Pack

What You Need to Know: Following up an incredibly hyped-up Nike React Element 87 collaboration, Jun Takahasi's Undercover is dropping four pairs of the Converse Chuck 70. First debuted on the runway at Paris Fashion Week this past January, the "Order/Disorder" pack is made up of white, black, red, and yellow colorways. Each features a vintage canvas upper with glossy toe boxes, contrasting toe bumpers, and "ORDER" and "DISORDER" written on the right and left toe box, respectively.
Off-White x Nike Blazer Mid 'Spooky' Pack

What You Need to Know: After being pushed from their original release earlier this month, Virgil Abloh's "Spooky Pack" of Nike Blazer Mids is set to release just in time for the Halloween season. The black and white "Grim Reepers," and cream and orange "All Hallows Eve" colorways act as the second and third releases of Abloh's take on the retro Swoosh model. Each comes complete with all of the signature bells and whistles people have come to expect like a larger Swoosh extending onto the midsole, zip tie, and Helvetica labeling throughout.
Nike Air Max 270 Bowfin

When: Wednesday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: Nike has decided to update the Air Max 270 with a more trail-friendly design. Dubbed the Air Max 270 Bowfin, this new take on the running model sports a multi-paneled upper, various straps, a toggle lacing system inspired by 1997's Air Max Light, a shrunken down Air bubble in the heel, and rugged outsole. The pair gives off strong '90s ACG vibes and will debut in a seasonal "Black/Desert Cone" colorway, as well as a more extravagant "Black/Photo Blue" pair.

Air Jordan VII Low

What You Need to Know: For the first time ever, the Air Jordan VII is being brought to retailers in a low top styling that strips the silhouette of its usual Jumpman branding on the lateral heel. To debut the new model, Jordan Brand is dropping three colorways. The "Taxi" pair features a tonal yellow upper with black and red detailing. The "Concord pair opts for a '90s-esque color scheme with purple upper, red, yellow, and green hits, and the VII's signature pattern on the tongue. Finally, JB decided to keep it classic by dressing the Air Jordan VII Low in the OG "Bordeaux" colorway.
Nike Air Foamposite One 'Denim'

When: Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: The Foamposite One returns this week with an unconventional material on the upper. Instead of the usual Foamposite shell, the upper features an indigo denim. Red hits on the Swoosh, pull tabs, and Penny logo on the heel give this iteration a slight pop of color.
Oyster Holdings x Adidas
Price: $150-$200
When: Friday, Sept. 28 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: Los Angeles-based lifestyle brand Oyster Holdings is back with another collaboration with Adidas. Two sneakers will release alongside various apparel inspired by the traveling sports fan and terrace culture. The Twinstrike ADV sports an all-white upper, multicolored hits on the midsole, and an extended tongue featuring the brand's classic Trefoil logo. Along with this sportier pair is the more casual BW Army inspired by the German Army Trainer from the '70s that features a white leather upper, leather liner, cream midsole, and multicolored branding on the heel.

Dragon Ball Z x Adidas

What You Need to Know: The first wave of the highly-anticipated collaboration between Dragon Ball Z and Adidas has finally arrived. Making up the initial offering are a Yung-1 made to resemble the character Frieza and a ZX 500 RM designed for the character Goku. These two shoes are being released side-by-side to symbolize the battles between both foes in the iconic anime series. Both pairs also feature special graphics on the insole and come in special packaging covered in illustrations from the series.

Nike React Element 55
Price: $130
When: Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: Following up the success of the React Element 87, Nike is introducing the React Element 55. The shoe remains largely the same, but replaces the translucent upper with an opaque mesh. Four black-based colorways will be available that sport volt, white, red, or blue detailing, respectively.

Air Jordan V 'Wings'

What You Need to Know: The design inspiration for the latest Air Jordan V is rooted in Chicago. Dubbed the "Wings" colorway, this pair covers a white leather upper in illustrations from students at Little Black Pearl, a non-profit cultural arts center for Chicago youth. The unique design creates mismatched uppers accented by teal hits like a wings-shaped lace lock, wings-shaped mesh panels, and teeth on the midsole. MJ's iconic Wings logo is also stitched behind each tongue.
