Nike SBs inspired by snack cakes, Dunks nodding to school lunch, and a new flip of a classic Air Jordan colorway highlight this week’s sneaker release calendar.
Things kick off on Wednesday with the arrival of the Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low. The following day, the WTAPS x New Balance 990v2 gets another drop via select retailers. A bulk of this week’s releases take place on Friday including the “Stewie” LeBron 18 Low, “Shimmer” Women’s Air Jordan 4, and two pairs of the ACG Mowabb. Releases wrap up on Saturday with the “Bordeuax” Air Jordan 6 and “Chocolate Milk” Social Status x Nike Dunk Mid.

Quartersnacks x Nike SB Dunk Low

What You Need to Know: Quartersnacks gets wild for its latest Nike SB collab. The skate shop has covered the SB Dunk Low in zebra stripes. The look is said to be a nod to Little Debbie Zebra Cakes. A Quartersnacks logo resembling the Nike NYC logo is also embroidered on the lateral heel.
WTAPS x New Balance 990v2
Price: $315
When: Friday, Sept. 3
Where: End. Launches, Newbalance.com, and other select retailers
What You Need to Know: New Balance fans will get another chance to grab the latest WTAPS 990v2 this week. The Made in USA edition of the 990v2 from the popular Japanese brand takes a minimal approach with an all-grey upper mixing suede and mesh. WTAPS branding appears on each heel.
Nike LeBron 18 Low 'Stewie'

What You Need to Know: A fan-favorite, unreleased LeBron colorway returns on the LeBron 18 Low later this week. The new pair resembles the “Stewie” LeBron 6 PE that first was seen back in 2009. The look is a clear nod to Stewie from Family Guy with its cartoonish line work and red, blue, and yellow detailing to match the mischievous baby’s outfit.
Women's Air Jordan 4 'Shimmer'
Price: $190
When: Friday, Sept. 2 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: The Air Jordan 4 is dropping in a brand new women’s colorway this week. The “Shimmer” color scheme features a tonal tan upper constructed of burnished leather and nubuck that are designed to show signs of natural wear over time. Clear rubber straps, a gum heel tab, and metallic silver Jumpman complete the design. Despite using different materials, the pair is slightly remeniscent of the Off-White x Air Jordan 4, another women’s colorway of the popular Air Jordan that released in 2020.
Nike ACG Air Mowabb

What You Need to Know: The Nike ACG Air Mowabb returns in two OG colorways this week, “Rattan Birch” and “Twine.” Each earth-toned upper is accented by a pop of color from the ankle bootie, blue and teal, respectively. Modern upgrades have been made to the ‘90s silhouette like a stretchier collar and addition of pull tabs for an easier on-and-off process, as well as a mini Swoosh embroidered on the lateral toe.

Air Jordan 6 'Bordeaux'

What You Need to Know: A popular Air Jordan 7 colorway outfits a brand new Air Jordan 6 set to arrive this weekend. The “Bordeaux” 6 takes on the grey and black suede look of the OG 7 complete with similar bordeux accents on the tongue and heel. This 6 also borrows the usual tongue pattern found on the 7s to make the homage that much more obvious.
Social Status x Nike Dunk 'Chocolate Milk'
Price: $130
When: Saturday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: Social Status is dropping off the first part of its Nike Dunk collab this weekend. The “Chocolate Milk” Dunk features various shades of brown to nod to the popular school lunch beverage. A mix of materials like nubuck and velvet make up the upper. Special details include crinkled paper tongue tags, mini Swooshes on the lateral toe, puffy rubber Swooshes, a special ankle collar height that is unique to Social Status’ project, and detailed packaging that is supposed to resemble a milk carton.
