This weekend, Complex takes over the McCormick Place convention center for the first annual ComplexCon Chicago festivities. Of course, there are plenty of exclusive sneaker drops to look forward that are highlighting this week of releases.
Releases start on Thursday with the overseas launch of the "Light Bone" Fear of God x Nike Air Skylon 2, and "EYBL" Nike KD 12s. On Friday, the "Bright Citron" Undercover x Nike Daybreak, Concepts x Versace Chain Reaction, and "Lakers" Air Jordan XIII all arrive at select retailers.
Releases wrap up on Saturday with the "Inner Light" Pharrell x Adidas SolarHU pack, and "NASA 50th" Nike PG 3. The Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 "Animal 3.0" collection and "MCA" Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 will both be releasing exclusively at ComplexCon Chicago.

Fear of God x Nike Air Skylon 2 'Light Bone'

What You Need to Know: The first two colorways released back in December 2018, but a third Fear of God x Nike Air Skylon 2 is hitting select European retailers this Thursday. The premium pair is dressed in a monochromatic "Light Bone" color scheme with a mesh upper, suede overlays, translucent Swoosh, perforated leather tongue, and a toggle lacing system. Special Fear of God branding can be seen on the lateral heel, and insoles.
Nike KD 12 'EYBL'

What You Need to Know: Nike is releasing two vibrant colorways of the KD 12 to celebrate its annual EYBL Peach Jam basketball tournament. One pair sports a pastel tie-dye upper, while the other opts for a multi-colored look with floral and polka dot panels wrapping the heel. Each is completed with an EYBL logo stamped on the lateral heel.

Undercover x Nike Daybreak 'Bright Citron'

What You Need to Know: Yet another colorway of the Undercover x Nike Daybreak is arriving at retailers overseas this week. The "Bright Citron" color scheme of the reimagined '70s runner sports a yellow nylon upper, grey suede overlays, black Swoosh, and jagged heel piece. Subtle Undercover branding appears on the heel and lateral portion of the speckled white midsole.
Concepts x Versace Chain Reaction

What You Need to Know: Concepts uses some unconventional inspiration for its latest footwear collaboration with Versace. This special colorway of the Chain Reaction is inspired by the green Versace dress that Jennifer Lopez wore to the 2000 Grammy Awards. It mimics the iconic outfit with a green jungle print across its nylon upper, and iridescent overlays. A quilted tan leather tongue adds another premium component to the design that sits atop the silhouette's signature chain-link white outsole.
Air Jordan XIII 'Lakers'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is dropping a brand new colorway of the Air Jordan XIII this weekend inspired by one of Michael Jordan's greatest rivals, the Los Angeles Lakers. The pair sports sports the XIII's signature color blocking with a white leather upper, purple suede on the mudguard and wrapping the heel, purple branding, and bright yellow accents on the outsole.
Pharrell x Adidas SolarHu 'Inner Light' Pack

What You Need to Know: Pharrell's Adidas SolarHu returns to retailers this weekend in four monochromatic colorways that make up the "Inner Light" pack. White, grey, cream, and black color schemes will all be available. Each will be highlighted by "Hu" embroidery on the toe box.

Eric Emanuel x Reebok Answer 5

What You Need to Know: Known for his multiple stylings of mesh basketball shorts, New York-based designer Eric Emanuel has been tapped by Reebok to collaborate on two colorways of the Answer 5. The first version of Allen Iverson's fifth signature model designer by Emanuel features a bright yellow leather upper with silver and navy blue detailing inspired by the Reebok Question Iverson was supposed to wear for the 2000 NBA All-Star Game. The second pair sports a white leather upper with hot pink detailing. Each pair is completed with a flip on the I3 logo that incporporats Emanuel's logo in place of the number "3." The yellow pair will receive a wider launch in Fall 2019, while the pink option will be exclusive to ComplexCon Chicago.
Nike PG 3 'NASA 50th'

What You Need to Know: Nike has crafted another NASA-inspired edition of the PG 3. This particular pair opts for a tonal silver look with reflective paneling to celebrate the 50th anniversary of humans landing on the moon as a part of the Apollo 11 mission. Official NASA logos appear on the insole and heel. An Apollo 11 crest is stitched on the left tongue.
Atmos x Nike Air Max 1 'Animal 3.0' Pack

What You Need to Know: One of the many special drops taking place at ComplexCon Chicago this weekend is the "Animal 3.0" pack of Nike Air Max 1s from Atmos. Unlike the original "Animal" Air Max 1 from 2006, this time the Japanese boutique opted for three different color schemes featuring their own specific animal print and colorful accents. Options include "Leopard/Orange," "Green/Cow," and "Tiger/Blue."
Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 'MCA'

What You Need to Know: After releasing in very limited quantities on Off-White's website last month, the "MCA" Off-White x Nike Air Force 1 will be getting another drop at ComplexCon Chicago. The University Blue colorway was designed to commemorate the opening of Virgil Abloh's "Figures of Speech" exhibit at MCA Chicago. The pair includes some of Aboh's signature details like Helvetica "AIR" branding, a stamp on the medial side panel, and a red zip tie.
ComplexCon Chicago Converse Chuck 70 Collaborations

What You Need to Know: Chinatown Market and Joshua Vides have both crafted their own versions of the Converse Chuck 70 that will be dropping exclusively at ComplexCon Chicago this weekend. Chinatown Market's creation transforms when it is exposed to UV light. Vides' collab can also be customized with multiple Velcro panels in special colors. Converse rounds out the exclusive offerings with its own "UNT1TL3D" pack featuring pairs covered in hand-etched "NOT A CHUCK" text sitting atop exaggerated midsoles.

Def Jam x Puma Clyde Court

What You Need to Know: Puma celebrates the 35th anniversary of legendary hip-hop label Def Jam Records with a new collaboration on the Clyde Court. Decked out in a maroon upper inspired by the imprint's original design, the sneakers feature the Def Jam logo at the heel along with the year it was founded—1984—on the heel tab. Set to release globally next month, the collab will see an early launch this weekend at ComplexCon Chicago.
