This week of new drops brings new pairs from Nike, Jordan Brand, Converse, Reebok, and Adidas including collaborations with the likes of CNCPTS, Parra, JW Anderson, and even world-renowned fashion publication Vogue.
Releases kick off on Wednesday with the arrival of the "Still KD" Nike KD 11. Nike Basketball will be introducing Paul George's fusion sneaker, the PG 2.5, the following day as well. Also scheduled for a Thursday drop is the updated Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo, the return of the OG "Solar Red" Air Max 95, JW Anderson's latest collaboration with Converse inspired by ceramic sculptures, and the first retro of 1993's Reebok Aztrek runner in 25 years.
The weekend of releases concludes on Saturday with Concepts' "Shiatsu" Energy Boost inspired by upscale spas, Dutch artist Parra's colorful takes on the Air Max 1 and Air Zoom Spiridon, the "Pure White" Air Jordan III, and the first delivery from the Vogue x Air Jordan project—two pairs of the Air Jordan I High Zip emblazoned with editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's "AWOK" stamp of approval.

Nike KD 11 'Still KD'

What You Need to Know: With Kevin Durant spending his summer celebrating his second NBA championship, Nike is set to release yet another colorway of the KD 11. Following up last week's "Peach Jam" colorway celebrating the EYBL youth basketball league, the "Still KD" KD 11 takes a much simpler approach. An "Oreo"-esque black and white Flyknit makes up the upper with black hits appearing on the ankle collar, heel, and overlays by the toe. The upper sits atop a translucent midsole unit with React cushioning.
Nike PG 2.5

What You Need to Know: Nike's latest addition to Paul George's signature line is hitting shelves this week. The PG 2.5 fuses the overall design of the PG 2 with the PG 1 by adding a strap across the midfoot that initially appeared on PG13's first signature shoe. This simple colorway uses a black upper with silver branding hits and silver speckling on the midsole.
Nike Zoom Pegasus Turbo

What You Need to Know: Nike is upgrading its best-selling runner with some new technology. Dubbed the Zoom Pegasus Turbo, the latest installment in the Pegasus line adds Zoom X cushioning—the same tech used in the Zoom VaporFly Elite. A layer of React foam is also present in the underfoot. The overall build of the Pegasus Turbo is the same as the Air Zoom Pegasus 35, but makes subtle changes to the design like the addition of a translucent upper and larger Swoosh.
Nike Air Max 95 'Solar Red'

What You Need to Know: Nike is bringing back a popular OG colorway of the Air Max 95 this weekend. The "Solar Red" Air Max 95 sports the silhouette's traditional upper with various shades of grey across the multi-paneled design. Hits of solar red are used on the eyelets, tongue logo, Swoosh, and Air unit.
JW Anderson x Converse Chuck 70 'Toy' Collection

What You Need to Know: British fashion label JW Anderson is linking up with Converse once again for a brand new collaboration. This time, the Irish-born designer was inspired by his love for art and ceramic sculptures. Four pairs—two high-top and two low-top—of the Converse Chuck 70 model have been covered in glossy patent leather uppers with translucent midsoles and toe caps, debossed "JWA" branding by the lateral heel, and thick cloth laces to resemble the stucco of San Francisco.
Reebok Aztrek OG

What You Need to Know: After 25 years in the vault, Reebok is bringing back 1993's Aztrek runner in its OG form. This particular silhouette falls perfectly in line with the current chunky sneaker trend. Two '90s-esque color schemes will be available—a white-based pair with black and teals hits, as well as a chalk-colored option with navy blue mesh panels and hits of hot pink. Both pairs sit atop a Hexalite-cushioned midsole unit.
Concepts x Adidas Energy Boost 'Shiatsu'

What You Need to Know: Boston-based sneaker boutique CNCPTS returns with a brand new collaboration with Adidas. Using the Energy Boost originally popularized on the feet of Kanye West back in 2015 as the canvas, CNCPTS has crafted its latest Consortium release. The "Shiatsu" Energy Boost is inspired by upscale hotel spas. More specificially, the design pays homage to Asian culture and the Shiatsu massage. It features a white knit upper, jade TPU Three Stripes cage, and a jade terrycloth lining to further allude to the relaxing spa theme. Of course, the shoe sits atop a white Boost midsole and Continental rubber outsole.
Parra x Nike Collection

What You Need to Know: Well-known Dutch artist and storied Nike collaborator Parra is back to deliver his latest take on the Air Max 1 and Air Zoom Spiridon. Both pairs use the same basic formula with white and grey uppers, patchwork-styled mud guards featuring various colorful patterns in what has become Parra's signature palette, and similar graphics on the insoles. Subtle differences on the Air Zoom Spiridon include a blue outsole instead of the multicolored color blocking used on the Air Max 1, 3M piping across the upper, and a metallic blue Swoosh. Matching apparel will also release alongside the footwear collection.

Air Jordan III 'Pure White'

What You Need to Know: Perfect for the summer months, Jordan Brand is dropping an all-white Air Jordan III this weekend. The entire upper is constructed of a white leather with tonal elephant panels on the toe and heel. Setting it apart from the strikingly similar "Pure Money" Air Jordan III release from 2007, this new colorway sits on an icy blue outsole. It also lacks the silver accents and "Pure $" embroidery behind the heel tab of 2007's white-on-white release.
Vogue x WMNS Air Jordan I High Zip 'AWOK'

What You Need to Know: A rather unsuspecting collaboration, Jordan Brand has joined forces with revered fashion publication Vogue for a collection of women's Air Jordan Is. This special project features red and sail-based versions of the Air Jordan I High Zip. Each leather upper is accented by a red "Edited by Vogue" keychain that dangles from a silver zipper. The zipper replaces a traditional lacing system and when unzipped reveals a red leather panel embroidered with "AWOK"—the iconic stamp of approval from the magazine's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour. The same signature is also stamped in larger font on the outsole in black. To carry on the premium feel that should be expected from a collaboration with Vogue, each pair will arrive in suede dust bags and special packaging.
