This week's round of sneaker releases is packed with a ton of collabs ranging from Jerry Lorenzo's latest work with Nike all the way to a collection from Adidas inspired by the latest film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Avengers: Endgame.
Drops start on Thursday with the arrival of the O.G. "Medicine Ball" Air Trainer III and "Volt" Air Max Tailwind IV from Nike. On Friday, Nike launches two colorways of the Air Max 180 Hi in collaboration with Yoon Ahn's Ambush. The collabs continue on Saturday with the second collection from Lorenzo's Nike Air Fear of God line hitting retailers complete with two new footwear options.
The Air Jordan XIII "Cap and Gown," Marvel x Adidas "Heroes Among Us" collection to celebrate the release of Avengers: Endgame, Donald Glover's debut project with the Three Stripes, designer Eric Emanuel's latest work with the brand, and the "Analog" Yeezy Boost 700 also hit stores this weekend to complete this week's solid lineup.

Nike Air Trainer III 'Medicine Ball'

What You Need to Know: Nike is bringing back one of Bo Jackson's classic signature models from the '80s, the Air Trainer III, in its OG "Medicine Ball" colorway. This version stays true to the original 1988 release with a perforated white upper, ginger and navy blue overlays, light bone TPU lacing setup wrapping the heel, and TPU midfoot strap. Earlier this year, Nike used this pair for inspiration to create a special colorway of the LeBron 16 as a part of its #LeBronWatch program.
Nike Air Max Tailwind IV 'Volt'

What You Need to Know: The "Volt" Nike Air Max Tailwind 4 has already started to pop up overseas, but will finally be getting its stateside drop this week. The OG colorway dons a white mesh and leather upper with black detailing. Yellow and green stripes with a gradient fade streak down each side panel. Volt yellow also accents the Swooshes, Air bubble, and outsole on the 1999 runner.
Ambush x Nike Air Max 180 Hi
Price: $180

What You Need to Know: Ambush's Yoon Ahn has combined two retro Nike silhouettes for the fashion label's long-awaited Nike collaboration. The unique Air Max 180 Hi fuses the Air Max 180 and Air Zoom Flight. An upper is covered by a high-cut nylon shroud complete with an asymmetrical zipper running up the tongue, large pull tab at the heel, and tonal Swoosh on the lateral side panel. A suede overlay also wraps the heel. The unconventional design sits atop a traditional Air Max 180 sole with an icy hit at the Air unit. Black and white-based versions will be widely available for the first time following previous limited releases.

Nike Air Fear of God Collection Two

What You Need to Know: Nike is releasing the second Air Fear of God collection designed by Jerry Lorenzo this weekend. The highlight will be two new footwear silhouettes: the Air Fear of God Raid and Air Fear of God Moc. The Air Fear of God Raid is inspired by the Air Raid outdoor basketball sneaker from the '90s. Offered in a "Light Bone" colorway, the pair is constructed of a leather and textile upper. It has stitched detailing on the toe box, black Swooshes on each side panel, nylon cross straps, and a toggle lacing system. The "Pure Platinum" Air Fear of God Moc is a lightweight lifestyle model constructed entirely of ripstop nylon. It features a snap button closure at the lateral heel, toggle system in the heel, and large midfoot strap. Each sits atop a double-stacked Zoom Air unit.

Air Jordan XIII 'Cap and Gown'

What You Need to Know: Jordan Brand is helping ring in graduation season with the "Cap and Gown" Air Jordan XIII. A follow-up to last year's Air Jordan XI, this pair sports an all-black upper nubuck upper with patent leather used on each side panel in place of the more traditional mesh material. Graduation cord-inspired laces, a lasered insignia in place of the usual hologram at the heel, and smoky translucent outsole complete the premium design.
Marvel x Adidas Basketball 'Heroes Among Us' Collection

What You Need to Know: Avengers: Endgame is arguably the biggest movie event of the year. To celebrate the latest blockbuster in the massively popular superhero franchise, Adidas has created a collection of basketball sneakers inspired by the protagonists. The "Heroes Among Us" collection honors Adidas athletes James Harden, Damian Lillard, Tracy McGrady, John Wall, and Candace Parker. The Harden Vol. 3, Dame 5, TMAC 1, N3XT L3V3L, Pro Vision, and Marquee Boost are given special color schemes to represent Iron Man, Black Panther, Nick Fury, Captain America, Captain Marvel, and Thor, respectively.

Donald Glover x Adidas Collection

What You Need to Know: Donald Glover's first collaboration with Adidas releases this week. This multi-faceted entertainer has put his own spin on the Continental 80, Nizza, and Lacombe. Each is dressed in a cream canvas upper with white accents. All three pairs feature their fair share of deconstructed details like frayed edges, tattered stitching, inside-out eyelets, and "hand-painted" Three Stripes that are designed to emphasize the stories that a worn-in sneaker can tell over time. Each will be finished with a moth logo on the insole, special packaging, and three lacing options.

Eric Emanuel x Adidas Collection

What You Need to Know: Known mostly for his colorful basketball shorts, New York-based designer Eric Emanuel has also developed an ongoing relationship with Adidas over the past year. His latest collab with the Three Stripes features the retro Patrick Ewing-endorsed Rivalry model covered in a colorful floral print inspired by faded hotel wallpaper. The same print covers an Adilette slide as well. The collab is completed with the updated Rivalry RM with Boost cushioning in the midsole. The much more subtle design features a linen nubuck upper, green detailing, a gum sole, and the aforementioned floral graphic on the tongue and heel tabs.

Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 'Analog'
