National Bagel Day may have just passed, but Nike isn’t done celebrating just yet. One of this week’s biggest releases sees the Dunk Low crafted to resemble Montreal’s signature bagels.

Other notable drops throughout the week include Sean Wotherspoon’s latest Adidas collab, Bricks & Wood’s take on the New Balance 9060, Awake NY’s debut of its original Asics silhouette, Bodega providing its take on another pair from the Saucony archive, and more.

Nike Dunk Low 'Montreal Bagel'

What You Need to Know: Nike looks north to inspire its latest release. This Dunk Low is made to resemble the bagels that Montreal has become known for. It features a tan upper with overlays covered in sesame seeds similar to the delicious breakfast food. A gum sole and blue detailing complete the Canadian colorway, but you don’t need to be from Montreal to appreciate this food-inspired sneaker.

Slam Jam x Nike Air Force 1 'Black'

Price: $180

When: Tuesday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: Italy’s Slam Jam is dropping its latest collab with Nike this week. The boutique has provided a premium take on the all-black Air Force 1 complete with unique elements like a perforation pattern on the toe box resembling the Slam Jam logo, a mesh quarter panel, suede detailing on the Swoosh and heel tab, upside down “Nike Air” branding on the heel tab, and double laces.

Nike Zoom Vomero 5 'Iron Ore/Flat Pewter'

Price: $160

When: Thursday, Jan. 19 at 10 a.m.

What You Need to Know: It looks like Nike has big plans for the Zoom Vomero 5 in 2023. This particular pair is dressed in a mix of grey and cream, which make it a perfect everyday shoe. Given the current infatuation with classic grey New Balances and various 2000s runners in the marketplace right now, expect the Zoom Vomero 5 to be met with similar attention.

What You Need to Know: Bodega is dropping another sneaker with one of its longest standing collaborators, Saucony, this weekend. The canvas of choice this time around is 1997’s 3D Grid Hurricane. Standout elements on the boutique’s version of this technical ‘90s runner include weaved grey side panels, iridescent Saucony logos, forest green suede wrapping the toe box, a neon yellow liner, and gum bottoms.

Sean Wotherspoon x Adidas Orketro

Price: $160

When: Thursday, Jan. 19 at 10:30 a.m.

Where: Adidas Confirmed and other select retailers

What You Need to Know: Sean Wotherspoon’s latest sneaker with Adidas is arguably the creator’s best work to date. The Orketro’s sleek upper is inspired by 2000s runners. Wotherspoon’s pair sports pink mesh, black and cream overlays, blue piping, a cream sole, and a set of Three Stripes extending across the lateral toe. Wotherspoon’s logo can be seen stamped on each tongue and cork insole.

Bricks & Wood x New Balance 9060

What You Need to Know: For its second New Balance collab, Kacey Lynch’s Bricks & Wood has crafted a story centered around the 9060. The “Nothing Changed But the Address” campaign is inspired by world travel. According to Lynch, the pair’s off-white, grey, and green color palette nods to his grandmother’s house in South Central LA. Details include 3M mesh underlays, fuzzy laces, co-branding on the inner tongue tags, and special insoles featuring a sublimated image of grass to nod to the home’s front yard.

What You Need to Know: Angelo Baque continues his ongoing partnership with Asics with the debut of the Gel-NYC this Friday. The original silhouette will be available in two color combinations, pink and teal, and purple and gold. The model itself is a fusion of various pairs from the Asics archive including the Gel-Nimbus 3, Gel-MC PLUS, and sole from the Gel-Cumulus 16. Awake NY branding is stamped on the lateral heel.
