Vans Assembles a Collection Celebrating Marvel's Greatest Heroes

For its latest inspiration, Vans has collaborated with Marvel to celebrate the historic comic company's greatest heroes.

The collection will include a wide range of footwear and apparel options for the whole family with options available in men's, women's, kid's, and toddler sizing. Some of Vans' most recognizable silhouettes like the Sk8 Hi, Authentic, and Slip-On have been designed to represent popular heroes like Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk, Black Panther, Deadpool, and more. Along with sneakers, Vans has also created multiple Marvel-inspired styles of flip-flops and sandals perfect for the upcoming warm weather.

While some pairs opt to recreate the costumes of each hero, others cover the canvas with colored or black-and-white comic book art of each respective character. A highlight from the capsule is the Vans Old Skool featuring components to represent each member of The Avengers. For example, metallic silver wings representing Thor replace the classic Vans side stripe branding, Captain America's shield can be seen on the heel, the tongue is made to look like Iron Man's high-tech suit, and the midsole dons Hulk's signature green and purple.

Marvel comic and movie fans alike will get the chance to support their favorite heroes when the full Vans x Marvel collection hits vans.com and select Vans retailers on Friday, June 8. Pricing has yet to be announced.
