Reebok Brought Back This Forgotten '90s Runner

Reebok has brought back 1998's 3D Opus running slhouette, now called the 3D OP.98, in 'Black/Gold' and OG 'True Grey/Green' colorways.

Brands frequently bring back sneakers from the past, but not many people could have foreseen this shoe ever making a comeback. Reebok has decided to retro one of its forgotten runners from the late '90s—the 3D Opus.

This model returns in two different colorways with a new name—the 3D OP.98. One sports a black and white upper constructed of mesh and nubuck. The most eye-catching detail on this particular pair is a gold leather overlay. Recognizable Reebok logos are stamped on the lateral heel area and tongue. The other offering is the OG colorway of the 3D Opus that sports a black and grey upper with green patent leather overlays.

The main feature of the 3D Opus is its 3D Ultralite midsole technology that aims to create a more lightweight running model. The overall shape and vibe of this sneaker definitely lend itself to the current footwear trend of chunkier, low top silhouettes as well.

Both pairs of the Reebok 3D OP.98 are currently available at select overseas accounts like Snkrs for €149 (app. $173). A stateside release date has yet to be announced.
