The latest basketball model getting the retro treatment from Nike is a somewhat unlikely candidate. Nike's '80s basketball model, the Nike Vandal High will be making its return in OG form at the beginning of October.
This retro of the Vandal High stays true to the original colorway by sporting details like a metallic silver nylon upper, red leather Swoosh and heel tab, and blue, silver, and red ankle strap. The pair is finished off with a white midsole, and navy blue outsole.
Earlier this year, the Vandal got a premium upgrade from fashion designer John Elliott with the release of his two-colorway collaboration in premium suede and leather constructions.
The Nike Vandal High Supreme releases Oct. 1 through the Nike app, nike.com, and other select retailers. Retail pricing has yet to be announced.
