After months of teasers, Nike has finally officially unveiled its modern "T-shirt for the foot," the React Presto.

The React Presto takes the DNA of the original Air Presto from 2000 like a sock-like bootie upper and midfoot cage, and places it atop a React midsole to create a brand new design for 2019. Another subtle addition on the new silhouette is eyestays on the tongue and heel that allow for various lacing options.

Aside from the physical construction of the shoe, Nike has also revisited the character-based themes on the React Presto. Originals like Brutal Honey and Rabid Panda return alongside a series of new playful characters like Psychedelic Lava, Chatty Matador, Witness Protection, and Lazy Thursday.

In honor of the character system, Nike will also introduce the React Presto on its By You customization platform on May 9 complete with the ability to dress the low-top in all-over graphics inspired by other original personalities like Unholy Cumulus, Rogue Kielbasa, and Shady Milkman.

Both OG-inspired colorways of the Nike React Presto will hit select retailers on May 9 with the new round of options arriving at stores on May 16. Check out each colorway below.
