Following the recent debut of the Patta By You program allowing users to customize their own versions of the Dutch brand's Air Max hybrids, Nike has revealed it will be introducing a similar concept for its upcoming collaboration with London-based label Maharishi.
Nike By Maharishi will allow customers to put their own spin on the military-inspired Air Force 1 High, Air Force 1 Utility, and Air Max 270 Bowfin created for the project. The Air Force 1 High is inspired by tour jackets from World War II. It features a leather and wool upper that can be transformed with multiple color options. The standout feature is the embroidered gold Swoosh created using tiger and dragon motifs.
The Air Max 270 Bowfin can be customized with various color and material swaps including Maharishi's reflective Bonsai Forest camouflage. Finally, the Air Force 1 Utility can be covered in various all-over prints including a black-and-white redacted document print. All three pairs also feature their fair share of redacted script branding on areas like the tongue, side panel, and insole.
To mark the introduction of Maharishi By You, the brand is raffling off five of its own creations at maharishistore.com. Each raffle will be live until 12 p.m. GMT on Nov. 29 with prices ranging from £120 (Air Force 1 High) to £150 (Air Force 1 Utility and Air Max 270 Bowfin). Nike's online customization platform will officially launch on Dec. 10.
