Following its debut on the feet of the Kobe line's current torchbearer, DeMar DeRozan, the latest Kobe A.D. has now surfaced in a Los Angeles Lakers color scheme.

A first look at the colorway comes courtesy of @J23app on Twitter. Staying true to the Black Mamba's signature lineup, the model features another low-top cut. The overall silhouette, however, is as reminiscent of a trail runner as it is a basketball sneaker.

This pair features a predominantly black mesh upper with purple accents on the heel, laces, and suede toe box. Slight hits of Lakers gold highlight detailing on the top, while white takes care of the Swoosh and band across the forefoot.

New to the Kobe line, this pair feature a slip-on bootie construction instead of the traditional set-up that has typically been seen. An official release date has yet to be revealed, but expect this Lakers colorway of the latest Kobe A.D. to hit retailers in the near future.
