The KD 10 Finishes off Nike's 'Art of a Champion' Pack

Nike revealed that the KD 10 would be completing the 'Art of a Champion' pack by gifting a lucky fan a suitcase containing a one-of-one pair dipped in gold.

Over the course of this year's NBA Playoffs, Nike has been consistently dropping releases from its 16-shoe "Art of a Champion" pack with a promise that the final pair would honor the eventual 2018 NBA Champions. Being as that the Golden State Warriors captured the Larry O'Brien trophy in dominating fashion over the Cleveland LeBrons Cavaliers, Nike has appropriately chosen the KD 10 as the last pair.

The special pair of the back-to-back Finals MVP's 10th signature was first revealed at the Warriors' parade in Oakland earlier this week. Although it was not the official release, a gold-dipped version of the KD 10 was spotted. A lucky fan was even gifted the golden pair by Kevin Durant himself. It came packaged in a gold suitcase sporting a hangtag with 16 gold tally marks that has been used on all previous "Art of a Champion" releases. It was also filled with special jerseys, a speaker, and artwork of the Slim Reaper.

It is unclear if Nike has chosen to celebrate with this limited edition one-of-one only, or if a Finals-themed KD 10 will make its way to retailers in the near future. Stay tuned for more details and check out images of the special package below.
